About Us
The Creativity Campus is a creative studio and community space in Toronto's Annex neighbourhood. We’re here to remind you how good it feels to make something with your hands and hearts, whether on your own, as part of a team, or with your family, friends or community. Leave productivity and perfection at the door and let creativity and connection guide you back to yourself at your most human.
Faciltitator. Innovator. Coach.
Laura Stavro-Beauchamp established The Creativity Campus as a third place to support individuals, communities, and teams as they reconnect with themselves and each other.
Based on more than a decade of experience working with innovation teams and her academic research on creativity and resilience, she designs and delivers creative experiences that help reconnect people with their creativity and remind you how good it feels to make something with your hands and your heart.
Laura leads Creative Community programs at our studio and workshop space in Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood. These sessions guide people back to their creative selves, focusing on practice, not perfection, and encouraging individuals to nurture community connections and creative expression as they reconnect with their humanness through experiences of creativity.
For those solving sticky problems, she uses her innovation consulting, qualitative research, and community engagement skills to design and deliver strategic support to those looking to make change. Her offering includes designing and facilitating workshops that empower communities with forums to share their lived experiences, inform service providers, and influence the development of products and services that meet their needs.
When working with organizational teams, Laura delivers Creative Recalibration sessions. These strengthen resilience and adaptability, reconnecting folks with the meaning that brought them to their work, building sustained trust, and cultivating a genuine sense of belonging through the creative and collaborative process of co-designing culture, rituals, and ways of working.
Every session at The Creativity Campus blends human-centred design approaches with those of Flow and creativity coaching to deliver a customized experience that meets people where they're at, nurturing their creative health and supporting their response to immediate challenges while strengthening their resilience and adaptability to prepare them for what changes may come.
Creativity cannot be controlled but it can be cultivated
To nurture creativity at The Creativity Campus we provide the time, space, materials, openness, and inspirational inputs to spark ideas and energy.
We're on a mission to...
Remind people how good it feels to play and create stuff with their hands and hearts
Create a third place that provides an escape from productivity, perfection, and pressure
Activate the 5th pillar of health to engage with others and ease the loneliness and isolation of modern work and life
Nurture a venue to host people as they share their passions, knowledge, and creativity with their communities
Rebuild community connections in the real world and help people escape the glow of their screens and the draw of their algorithms
