After a long day, kids need a place to have a laugh and let it all hang out. These Monday sessions are for folks 10- 13 years old who are looking for a place to relax with friends and make something crafty.
Crafternoons! are a low-key, joyful space where teens can come and crack up with their pals then go home with something real, made with their own hands and a little bit of heart. Every 6-week session the group chooses from a menu of projects, so no two sessions are exactly alike. Project options like bag tags, junk journals, clay trinket trays or boxes, paper flowers and plants, essential oil face scrubs and candle painting. While the options are the same for each group the facilitation and nature of the projects are adjusted to reflect the age and interests of participants.
Crafternoons! aren’t about skills, they’re about fun, creativity and letting loose.
Sessions are every Monday from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm between September 21 and November 2, 2026. We’ll skip Monday October 12 to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends.
Pick up up from Palmerston Jr. Public and Essex Jr. and Sr. Public schools available on Mondays.
$250 for 6 workshops including snacks, all materials and a custom smock.
